Game tittle Princess Warrior
game rule: hero has defeat the villain by using superpowers. The player will get tricked as the villain seems innocent but he is very strong. you can change the difficulty as defeating the villain will be easier but you wont get experience points. It is also 2 players as you control the villain. Player starting point would be opposite to villains starting point. Players will attack after the bell as the game will have 3 rounds.The level is based on ice cream world and they will start on a big ice cream tub and villain will be on a opposite side. Player will attack with the weapons that the player is given and can use superpowers to interact with  other ice cream tubs which are in middle. The interaction will be jumping on them or using it to hit the enemy with it. the experience points give your player a level, the higher level you are the stronger you will be. To check someones level you will see at the top of their character on middle of their head.

What is a platform game? 

A platform game is a 2 dimensional game .The player gets to control a character jumping grabbing things between solid platforms at different positions at the screen.

When did they appear? 

The game genre was set in late 1970’s and it still exist.

Why is the platform game one of the most popular game genres?   

It is the first game that was ever produced. When they first made games they were two dimensional games for example Super Mario.This  was a popular game which was played by many gamers and is still being played by famous youtubers. This brings the memory back from the earlier 2d games.  

Do platform games have a specific target audience, what age range and demographics does the platformer appeal to? 

Platform games are for children because they don't have any violence and it is aimed at a target audience of age  5+ to adult.

Name and analyse 3 of the most popular Platform games, why are they so popular and what is the unique selling point of these games? 

Super Mario- 

It is popular because when you first think of a video game  Super Mario comes in your mind. It was a famous 2d game which came out in a console called gameboy and it brings back the memories of earlier 2d games. 

The unique selling point of the game is the basic drawing of the characters are like humans and are easy to relate to. 

Sonic- 

Sonic is a well known game introduced in 1991 and it won a best game of the year award. It came out in 1991 on a console called gameboy and it was played many times in schools and homes. The blue spikey character of Sonic attracted many children's attention and this made it the most popular game.
The unique selling point is because of Sonic's character and his superpowers.

Mr. Nutz- 
Mr Nutz came out in 1992 and it was on gameboy advance. This game was released after Sonic but was quite similar to Super Mario. It was produced by ocean software which was founded in 1984 who also made a game called Robocop in 1988. 
The reason it's popular is because it was created by ocean software which was one of the most famous 2d game producers.

Its unique selling point is that the game has one character which was a flying squirrel which would appeal to animal lovers.

Game Character Design

I did my character on my first attempt and I was happy with it. My idea came in my head and I thought it is going to easy to draw it.

I made this character. It is called Roboski

He is a bad guy who will try to defeat princes Worrior but he has a special power that can make the game even harder.

I chose these colors because they look bright, the reason why I chose bright colors because I tried to make him look funny.I tried to make him look funny so the player thinks he is innocent but he has evil powers. He has long arms that can make him turn into a rocket. I put sharp edges because it will help him to fly and also the sharp edges changes to fire. The fire is his famous evil power because he can turn into a rocket and he can be invisible.
